LCS Hockey - Help Wanted

Do you like hockey? Do you like to work for free? Do you like to stick it to "The Man"? If you've answered "yes" to the above questions, you may be just the person we're looking for.

In preparation for the 1998-99 NHL season, LCS Hockey is looking for several new team correspondents. Sadly, when you go in for world domination, not everyone makes it back. There were the unexpected deportations, the accidental bludgeoning, and even our ongoing feud with Bil Keane, the creator of the "Family Circus" comic strip, that eventually led to the kidnapping of several writers. But as the old story goes, one man's disappearance is another man's job opportunity.

With that in mind, LCS Hockey is currently looking to find correspondents for the following teams:

Carolina
Edmonton
Florida
New Jersey
Philadelphia
Phoenix
Vancouver

As an LCS Hockey team correspondent, you'd be the main source for information about your club. You'd be required to file a report once every two weeks for issues and you would also get first crack at all feature ideas involving the team.

If you think you have what it takes to swing the gig, write to us at sportif@westol.com and tell us all about yourself. Please supply such information as age, location, past writing experience, and anything else that might catch our eye. The letter you write will be very important in our decision-making process, so make it good. We'll be accepting applications through September 23rd. Then we'll read all the letters and hopefully make an announcement on the new writers within a week.
